Which airport for the Haramain?

Jeddah (JED)

For Makkah: about 80 km, 1–1½ hours by car or the Haramain train from the airport station. Most flights from Europe land here.

Madinah (MED)

About 15 km from Masjid an-Nabawi. Fly in here to begin with Madinah, then take the Haramain train to Makkah (about 2½ hours).

Open-jaw

Many pilgrims fly into Madinah and home from Jeddah. Book two one-way flights to do the same.

How it works

Three parties, one honest split.

You filter for what actually matters

Filter for prayer facilities, halal food, alcohol policy, bathroom setup, women-only spa hours and distance to the nearest masjid. Hotels we have checked directly get a Hasanat fit score out of 100; for the rest we show what the hotel's listing and map data say, and where each fact comes from.

🕌

A mosque shares its link

Any mosque can register in a minute and gets a personal link. A Friday announcement, a poster in the entrance, a line in the WhatsApp group — anyone who books through it is attributed to that mosque for 30 days.

🤝

Commission is shared, not hoarded

Hotels pay us 10% commission. Half goes straight to the referring mosque, paid out monthly. Big booking sites keep 100%; we would rather see it fund a roof repair or a Ramadan iftar.

Questions people ask

Are the prices higher than on the big booking sites?

No. The hotel pays the commission out of its own margin, exactly as it does with any other booking platform. The guest price is the same; only who receives the commission changes.

How do I know a hotel really has a prayer room or halal breakfast?

Hotels we have checked show a checked-on date and a Hasanat fit score: those facilities were confirmed with the hotel directly and are re-checked when guests report a change. Other hotels show what their own listing says, marked "hotel listing", until we have checked them. If something is missing when you arrive, tell us and we contact the hotel the same day.

What does the mosque have to do?

Nothing beyond sharing the link. No contract with hotels, no handling of money, no admin. The mosque sees its referrals and earnings live on its dashboard and receives a monthly transfer.

Can the mosque pass the money on?

Yes — it is theirs. Many will use it for running costs, some for local charity. Hasanattrip has no say in it.

What if I did not come through a mosque link?

You can pick a mosque yourself at checkout. If you pick none, that half of the commission goes into a general fund distributed across all registered mosques each quarter.

Mosque partner programme

Turn a Friday announcement into a monthly income for your masjid.

Register your mosque, receive a link and a QR code, and share it with your community. Every booking made through it credits your mosque with 50% of the commission — typically €25–€60 per stay. Payouts go out on the 5th of each month.
